"After the Party's Over"

"Tombstoned! - Stage V

(OK, so it’s not in the movie. We had to work the bear in somehow!)

by Piney Woods & Wild Bill Blackerby

Scenario
A few years have gone by since the melee in Arizona, and you and Josie have headed up to Alaska. There ain't nearly as much "room service" in that part of the world as you've become used to, so you head out into the bush one day to get some fresh meat. Ridin' thru a mountain meadow, you spot a whole mess of rabbits - and Josie just loves rabbit stew. You get down off your horse for a steadier shot and start to pot the little critters with your six-shooter. All the commotion rouses a deer and a bear outta the brush, so you mount up and take off after 'em.

Ammo
10 pistol, 9 Rifle

Starting Position
Standing near horse, two safely holstered pistols loaded with five rounds each.

Rifle safely staged in scabbard on horse, nine rounds in magazine.

Procedure
When ready, say "Rabbit stew for supper tonight!"

At the buzzer, engage each pistol target at least once. Repeat.

Mount horse and use rifle to engage the bear three times, engage the deer three times, then engage the bear three more times.
