"Dead Parrot"

Scenario
You've gotten lonely living in that quiet cabin on the hill, so you hit town and buy yourself a nice parrot to keep you company. The salesman at the local Mercantile sells you a Norwegian Blue parrot with lovely plumage and, happy at last, you take it home in a cage. The bird has been quiet after a large squawk earlier that day. Arriving home, you remove the cover and, hanging the cage, you notice the bird's been nailed to the perch in the cage. Your parrot is a late parrot. And so is that shop keeper. You return to town with your guns and enter the shop to complain. The shop keeper tries to convince you the parrot is just stunned but you ain't buyin' it - his story or this stiff of a parrot. Ammo10 pistol, 10 rifle, 2+ shotgun Starting Position Standing behind table with two safely holstered pistols, holding the parrot in both hands. Rifle and shotgun safely staged on table. ProcedureWhen ready, say "This is a…" (pick an appropriate phrase)" At the buzzer, drop the parrot and engage pistol targets in a continuous Palindrome Sweep, starting at either end. (1-1-1-2-2-3-3-4-4-4 or 4-4-4-3-3-2-2-1-1-1) Make pistols safe and engage rifle targets in the same order. Make rifle safe and engage shotgun targets in any order. |
